How do I know if my brick needs repointing?
Look for mortar joints that are recessed, crumbling, cracked or washing out after rain. Gaps let water into the wall, and freeze-thaw cycles make the damage worse every winter. We inspect the wall and tell you whether spot repairs or a full repoint makes sense.
Can you match my existing brick and mortar?
In most cases, yes. We match brick size, color and texture, and mix mortar to match the color and joint style of the existing wall so the repair blends in.
When is the best time of year for masonry work?
Spring through fall is ideal because mortar needs temperatures above freezing to cure properly. Urgent winter repairs can still be done with cold-weather precautions.
