How long before I can walk or drive on new concrete?
Foot traffic is usually fine after 24 to 48 hours. Wait about 7 days before driving on a new driveway, and full strength is reached at around 28 days.
Why does concrete crack, and how do you prevent it?
Most cracks come from a weak base, missing reinforcement or no control joints. We compact the base, reinforce the slab and cut control joints so any movement happens where it is planned.
